Feeding Our Future Back to School BBQ
We held the Feeding Our Future Back to School BBQ this week. John Diefenbaker School won the BBQ.
We were excited to have close to 20 entries to win! Feeding Our Future is a partnership. Broda Group and B&B are in the partnership with Lake Country Co-op, Lakeland Ford and Hyundai, and Conexus Credit Union. Here’s what one of the initiative partners, Lakeland Ford, had to say about the initiative back in 2022:

Together, we provide emergency lunches to at need children in Prince Albert’s elementary schools. Since the program began, we’ve helped provide more than 400,000 emergency lunches!
Here’s an article on MSN news from last year when we surpassed 400,000 lunches provided:

We’re proud to be one of the original program partners.
We had so much fun at John Diefenbaker School! In addition to hot dogs, the students enjoyed meeting the Raiders and getting their autographs.
The bouncy castles and face painting were a big hit!
We’re really grateful to Pattison Media for getting the word out so schools were able to enter to win!
Here’s an article from PANow from when we passed 250,000 lunches:

Pattison Media is a big help in letting Prince Albert know about the program. They are so community minded and we appreciate them so much.
The students at John Diefenbaker School really enjoyed the first ever Feeding Our Future Back to School BBQ. So did all of the volunteers from the program’s partners!
