Metis Centre of Excellence Early Learning & Child Care Centre
The Metis Centre of Excellence Early Learning & Child Care Centre will be joining the growing Hospital District in Prince Albert, SK. This is yet another positive development that is about to unfold in our growing community.
The announcement was just a few days ago. It was perfectly timed because May is Early Learning and Child Care month.

The Metis Centre of Excellence Early Learning & Child Care Centre will be a welcome addition to Prince Albert. PA is on the lands on which Treaty 6 was struck but these lands are also the home of the Metis Nation. Additionally, there is a big need for child care spaces in every community. However, our city was the largest growth city in Saskatchewan in the last census. We have a big need for child care spaces because our city is growing faster than the others in the province.
This new facility will contribute to the growth and development of our community’s young families and children. This is one more reason why we see a bright future for PA.
Every positive development in Prince Albert is helping our city get better and better. Here is one more reason to feel the sense of opportunities for the future of PA. We are very excited about this new centre of excellence that will be getting built in our city!
