PA Hosted Men's Softball World Cup!PA Hosted Men’s Softball World Cup

PA hosted the Men’s Softball World Cup.  We showed our city in a positive light on an international stage.  The Group B qualifiers just happened from July 10th to 14th at the Max Power Ball Park in Prime Ministers Park.

Here’s a story from Prince Albert Daily Herald about the event.  Organizers Ian Litzenberger and Derek Smith were excited to explain the event:

City hall was very excited to host international tourism in our community’s world class facilities:

Many local businesses invested in the ball diamonds at Max Power Ball Park.  The city also invested to expand the diamonds to ensure they would be world class.

The fun and action and international tourism will return in 2025.  PA will look even more dynamic and interesting a year from now.  More of the many positive developments in our city will be even further along.

It’s good that PA hosted the men’s softball world cup.  This shows our city in a positive light and builds community pride.  Tourism also has the potential to attract talent and investment.  Tourism is a great way to showcase our city and become better known.  We are Canada’s Most Park Filled City.  We call ourselves the City of Parks.  Using our parks to get positive attention and better known makes a very positive impact.
