Small Town Heart. Big Vision for our City

Rusty, Gord, Kenny and Jayson have small town heart and big vision for our city.

Easy going and laid back, these guys put their jeans on, put their work boots on, put their heads down and get things done.

more than a decade

Over ten years ago, they decided to use their skill sets to get things done for PA.  They’ve always quietly given back.  But this time, it was about development for the city where their adult children, grand children and elderly parents live.

before they broke ground
In a news article in 2020, Rusty said “By attracting people, we’ll be able to find the people needed to work in our [expanded] hospital and other industries I feel that are going to be coming to PA.”  He went on to say:  “We see the entertainment District just as a starting point.”

the future

The Yard business & entertainment District will draw people to Prince Albert, particularly working professionals.  We need to attract and retain talent for our massive hospital expansion and refurbishment.  New people bring new thoughts and new investment.  The Yard will also bring new much needed revenues to the city and will renew interest in Prince Albert.  More and more people will see PA as dynamic and full of opportunity with a bright future.

“I think you’ll naturally see, with more people in the community and excitement for investment, you’ll see your downtown core grow to a Arts and Culture type district with our university down there and the E.A. Rawlinson and museums.”

The partners are stimulating growth for Prince Albert in the way that their fathers did before them.  They build.  It’ll be exciting to see what builds on top of what they’ve started.
