That big steel structure is one of two NHL sized rinks. These will be year round ice rinks – a game changer for training and tournaments in PA. A great way to keep kids and families busy, happy, and healthy indoors year round.
The 2nd rink will be closer to Marquis Road but the pools will be the very closest. Yes, pools not pool.
This entire facility is the city owned Aquatic and Arenas Recreation Centre and it’s going up fast. 2 NHL sized ice rinks with year round ice, a competitive lane swimming pool, leisure pool with wave pool, and lazy river. All under one roof.
Imagine the fun families in Prince Albert will be able to have without having to drive. Imagine the families that will want to visit this rec center. Great entertainment and leisure for the people of PA. Great tourism attraction for everyone else.
