Defenders of Community

Defenders of Community deserve our gratitude and respect.  These are people who left their homes to keep wars far from our doors.  Defenders of Community are people who are willing right now to give up the comforts of home to keep threats away from our homes.  Remembrance Day isn’t just about wars past fought and those who fought in them.  Remembrance Day is also about showing our gratitude and appreciation for those today who would be willing to go far away to make sure our community stays safe and that our freedoms stay intact.

We here in Prince Albert and in Saskatchewan are fortunate not to be threatened directly by invasion.  And yet we have people willing right now to leave PA and this province to go far away and protect us.

We are proud to be Builders of Community.  We show our deep respect, gratitude and appreciation for Defenders of Community both past and present.
