McDonalds Joins the Food Hub

Today, McDonalds joins the Food Hub in The Yard District here in Prince Albert.

Happily, McDonalds has invested yet again in our city.  Every new building built means a major increase of revenues flowing into the City of Prince Alberts funds.  This means a better budget for services to all who reside here.

Additionally,  every new business in our city could mean more local donations.   McDonalds sponsors local organizations and events.  This is great news for clubs and teams in PA.

As well, McDonalds is a good employer.  In fact, in 2012, they were listed as one of the Top 50 Employers in Canada.  You can read here:  Canada’s 50 best employers – Macleans.ca

Finally, as McDonalds joins the Food Hub in The Yard, they will help provide important support.  They will support the Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre and the future Convention & Cultural Event Centre by providing food options to those facilities’ many visitors.  Imagine being able to park the car, go swim, splash and skate, then walk across the street for something to eat.  If you want, you’ll be able to take the bus and leave the car at home. It’s so important to have food options easy and quick to access from these major tourism facilities.

Welcome to The Yard, McDonalds!  Thank you for choosing to invest here.
