The families of Signature Development have released a statement about the historic bridge just south of the city. This bridge is located in the RM of Prince Albert. 

The partners of Signature Developments have put a lot of time and thought into researching if the derelict bridge could somehow be saved.  Their engineering studies have shown that there’s no way to make the bridge safe for pedestrians or vehicles. For public safety, it must come down. 

The partners are disappointed but have decided to memorialize this part of PA and area history.  They will create a small public park with a plaque honoring the bridge. People will be able to come visit and reflect on the bridge’s part of Prince Albert and area history.

The bridge is scheduled for demolition in Fall of 2026. 

Signature Developments and their families want to remind everyone that the bridge is unstable, unsafe, and a public safety issue and therefore should be avoided.
