Evan Bray Touched Base on PA
Evan Bray touched base on PA last week.
You might know that Evan replaced John Gormely on CKOM 650 News Talk Radio a couple years ago.
last fall
He came for a tour of PA in the Fall. Rusty and Gord drove him around Prince Albert to show him all the new developments that are happening here and how PA is about to boom.
First, they drove him past The Junction, Northern Lights Casino, Rose Garden Hospice, Metis Centre of Excellence, Gary Brar’s apartment buildings, the hospital, and Ronald McDonald House site.
Secondly, they showed him the internationally known Max Power Ball Parks. Next, they showed him the Riders stadium grade turf and the Olympic grade track at the newly refurbished Max Clunie Field and Harry Jerome Track.
Finally, they took him to the Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre. It was there that he met with City Manager Sherry, City Councilor Dawn, and several Directors and Managers for the city.
They took him on a tour of the Rec Centre. He got to see the 2 NHL sized year round ice surfaces, competitive lane swimming pool, lazy river, diving boards, 30 person hot tub, wave pool and splash pad for himself.
Let’s just say that Evan Bray was blown away by how much is going on here. He told us that our city is too quiet about all the good that is happening in Saskatchewan’s gateway to the North.
last week
Anyway, Evan Bray touched base on PA last week in a phone call to Gord. Gord got Evan all caught up on where things are at since Evan’s visit and tour. You can listen to their chat below. The page will look like this:
Just scroll down to January 2nd and look for Gord Broda’s name and the 11am time spot. The segment is 16.38 minutes long. You’re looking for this:

We’re so glad that Evan Bray touched base on PA with a good phone chat with Gord. Evan is letting the whole province know that it’s good to live, work, and play in PA. He’s letting PA people know that they have many reasons to be Prince Albert Proud.
