Here Comes the Boom!  Head South in the province and many people are curious about all the activity they hear that’s starting to unfold in our community.  Even people in our own city are starting to hear that our community is about to be booming.

So, what exactly is booming?  The forestry sector is being ramped up.  This has a huge impact on the top half of the province.  Saskatchewan has over 20 of the 30 or so critical minerals that the whole world needs for sustainable energy sources.  Many of those minerals are in the top half of the province.  

As these two sectors kick into high gear like never before, it has a huge impact on Prince Albert. Prince Albert is the biggest city in the top half of the province! 

That’s not even including the way bigger hospital we’re getting.  We have one of the three tertiary hospitals in Saskatchewan.  That means many people in Saskatchewan must travel to our hospital.  Having a tertiary hospital is actually a form of tourism.  Good thing we’re getting big city amenities going to host these people when they’re here for our hospital.

We didn’t have time to get into the big draw of revitalized forestry, critical minerals exploration, and the huge hospital but we covered a lot of other interesting facts.
